M/s Fibreglass & Insulation Services Pvt. (FISPL) is a closely held company by equity participation amongst its employees. Formerly, this was a Proprietary Company under the name and banner of M/s FRP Insulation Services (FIS). FIS was established and promoted in 1979. The Promoter, Mr. Pradyote Sarkar, is a Chemical Engineer. He has served M/s Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd., Kolkata (A Govt. of India Undertaking under Ministry of Defence Production) as an Executive Engineer in its Fibreglass Division. He has advanced study in Boat services Verft, Norway and A B Syntes, Goteberg, Sweden in 1974. He has also done Project Management for acquiring Fibreglass High Speed Interceptor Crafts for Coast Guard as a Technical Committee member for Ministry of Defence in Swallow Craft Co. (SAMSUNG Group), South Korea in 1978. M/s FISPL was formed in 1996 with the sole intention of collective growth.

We also deal in navigational aids. We manufacture 'state-of-art' Solar Power lighted navigational BUOYS, BEACON TOWERS. Our business is mainly with different Port Trust Authorities in India. We have developed excellent business relations with New Mangalore Port Trust, Karnataka and Mormugao Port Trust, Goa. We also manufacture high speed boats of sizes upto 8M with Volvo Penta Engines. We have design, development and manufacturing facilities for Floats, Pontoons and other Marine Vessels.
We have an air-conditioned workshop approved by M/s Lloyd's Register of Shipping and Indian Register of Shipping for construction of Nav-aid items and Marine Constructions. We are an ISO 9001 certified company.

FISPL is a Small Scale Industry (SSI) registered under the Directorate of Industries, Government of Goa. The Company is mainly engaged in JOB WORK of manufacturing PIPES, TANKS TRAYS MOTOR COVERS DUCTS etc. apart from all types of LINING JOBS and MAINTENANCE WORK. We specialise in Chlorine Static Mixers and Chlorine Fumes Extraction Systems.
